Fall color

The signs of fall are everywhere. The yellows, reds, and browns have appeared, at least in their beginning stages.

In the mountains, it's ahead, but in the piedmont, it's not far behind.

These are photos from the mountains, though, into the ravine behind our small house there.

  1. I really enjoyed seeing the colors starting to change last week as we drove down 85. That is a much nicer drive than 95!

  2. I see the tops of our trees turning yellows and golds...but the most colorful is the poison ivy! gail

  3. Goodness, isn't the poison ivy gorgeous this year? It begs to be in a table arrangement, if it wasn't such a pesky plant (certainly to those of us allergic to it).
